The landlord of the flat upstairs was supposed to come today, but I certainly never saw him. If anything, it should be his insurance that covers it.
However I'm not going to pursue it.

Everything dry, Helen? What's ruined? Such a shame. Water seems to be my nemesis too.

Have you been inside the castle? Its history is so interesting.

Yes, everything seems to have dried out now. I've had the mattress plonked against a radiator for a few days & now that seems to be dry.

I haven't been inside the castle yet - it was just a flying visit the day I took the photograph. I will do so one day.

I haven't updated this for a long time, but of course Covid raised its ugly head so not much has been going on.

Had a few more water related incidents, but the upstairs students moved out cos the uni closed, so that put a stop to that! It's been lovely & quiet too! So it has been just me & Joe from the top flat in the building; strange man but I like him. We've been tidying up the garden between us. He planted some runner beans which are now starting to produce, and our lettuces & chard are doing well. And my sunflowers are looking good.

Just a couple of pics....

That's my cheese plant! I've been filling the sittingroom with greenery! :D
