planning to go to this little group, who have small celebrations at the solstices and equinoxes,on Sunday 21st to celebrate the Spring Equinox[is spring ever coming this year!!]. we are, apparently, using Joanna Macy's work, to discuss and move into a deeper understanding of Earth and our relationship with our home planet :) .

anybody heard of this lady? I've goggled her web-site and it sounds quite interesting.

Just sharing what I know so far...
Joanna Macy has some books out and is a very powerful speaker. When I arrived in Scotland and stayed at Findhorn for about a week (sept. 2009), she was there for a conference and there were people from all over the globe who had come to take the course.
I had the thought just then that it could not just be coincidence--something more would come of this connection.
Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.

I did not participate but met some of the people, and they were very committed to her work.
I'm sure you can find much more info on her website.

and this interview with her seems to tell alot of good stuff (although it is from 1991):

More recent is this about her workshop---I feel like I've been there just reading about it.

Blessings on your day!
Loe to all,
Marge
