Post subject:  A Day out with the Boot Necks.
I have just returned home after visiting Plymouth for a week. Roo, Flo and the bopys have settled into their new home well and are enjoying being back in good old Blighty [I can't think why]. Anyway, I was invited to spend some time with the Royal Marines during some amphibious operations. If you would like to see some pictures you know what to do.

Pretty stunning opportunity to get to go on a training mission (is that correct?). My dad would have just loved that so much.....

course, maybe he did.

Hey Linny. FatSOs is an acronym for Fathers at Sea Orders. It is when we fathers get invited aboard for a few days and we get to drive the ship and shoot the guns. Last time I went we sailed back from Gibraltar to Portsmouth, it was great. Yes it was a training operation. Good fun for the observers.
