We are off to Ludlow for about 4 days having got care for M i L.

We will have a rest, go for some Sound Healing and come back refreshed.

Gill is into Shamanic soul retrieval and Sound Healing and is studying both of these with The College of Sound Healing. Some of it is jolly good although the drumming just doesn't suit me. :(

See you all in a few days time.

Yes, I'm back.

There are pictures and as soon as I have the time I will post them and tell you about our break.

We visited Hampton Court Castle (not the Palace) in Herefordshire Hampton Court Castle and Berrington Hall Berrington Hall

We are off again tomorrow for ten days (back a week on Tuesday) to our friends' cottage in the Lake District.

If the weather stays as hot as it has been for the last few days we will roast - but the cottage is always cool with its thick stone walls. Photos may follow.

No computer, no mother in law - pure bliss!!! :D

Stay healthy and happy every one.

Sounds lovely. Hot is better than cool & rainy.

Berrington Hall, I once knew a couple who worked and lived there, he was the Manager and I was allowed to go in after hours and found a few spirits around - happy days.

As you might have gathered from my postings, I'm back!!! :D

Ten days of scorching sunshine (it only rained first thing on our last day but that had all dried up by 10.00 am).

It was so hot that we rested in the cool of the cottage (it was strange being there and not having the heaters on because it is usually so cold in there) until about 5.00 pm before venturing out and doing our walks.
We visited Tarn Hows, Aira Force, Grasmere, Grizedale Forest and the Coniston Country Fair. If I am allowed more time photos will follow.

It was lovely just to be away from M i L and all the hassle.

Back in the rut now.

Orf we go again for a week in Sorrento. I'll wave from the lip of Vesuvius so keep an eye open.

It may be warming up here but it is hotter there.

If Gill will let me get to her iPad I'll post a photo or two.

Sitting on the patio having our dinner watching the Sun go down over the Bay of Naples.
Tough, I know, but someone has to do it.
We've done Herculaneum and Pompeii and are off to Capri tomorrow.
It will all be over far too soon.
Off to bed now.
Will try to post again but the Wifi is a bit fragile.
