 My 'name in healing' is Thais and I'm not very good at talking about myself, but in all fairness you ought to know a little about me, who I am & where I'm coming from! My nurture stage took place in the northeast of Scotland, a free range child & daughter of the beautiful countryside up there. I felt very close to nature and under the auspices of an enlightened mother, grew in spirit and communed with the fairies! After a few years in the southern metropolis, I went to live in Spain where the learning curve was interesting, informative & steep. Medicinal herbs became my passion for several years, as they grow wild and prolific in that country. I also taught yoga there and obtained a massage certificate on the island of Ibiza. I married there and brought up two children, returning to the UK 24 years later for a fresh start. I spent 7 years on the Isle of Wight, where I obtained a Diploma in Self Awareness from Associated Stress Consultants in 1995, Diplomas in Crystal Healing and Dream Analysis in 1996 from BSY, the Diploma in Reflexology from IIHHT at the Isle of Wight College in 2000 and became a reiki & seichem master with Bruce Way in Southampton in the same year. In 2001, I learned overtone chanting with Jill Purce in London. My involvement with flower remedies is ongoing from many years ago and I also use them myself whenever there is need for them. I have given yoga classes, run various workshops & given talks on the Isle of Wight and Coventry, and have created Mpowerstones to enhance quite a few gardens. In 2003 I studied Transformation Meditation with Sherrie Wade and have become a qualified meditation teacher. I hold meditation days and courses at intervals throughout the year, and these will be detailed on the ‘Diary Dates’ page of the website. I am also involved in teaching meditation and relaxation techniques to children, which is very rewarding. However, almost all my life I have known that I could heal, and am now putting that gift into practice in Coventry. I enjoy encouraging others to expand their minds & open up to vibrational energies, & especially to consider their health problems from a holistic viewpoint. I belong to the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Independent Professional Therapists International, and have my insurance with IPTI. I now live with my little shih tzu Lulu in a house full of plants, crystals, drums & singing bowls, & good vibrations! I would like to thank the many teachers I have had in my life - especially Carol Metivier - , for the loving & timely knowledge they imparted to me, and to my lovely and very special son who has used his time and expertise to develop this site for me.
